Our business was born out of resilience during the Pfeiffer Bridge closure of 2017, when Big Sur became an island and our main sources of work suddenly disappeared. In the midst of uncertainty, my wife and I made the decision to pursue our passion for jade full-time—laying the foundation for the business you see today.
